Yes.

You need to fix your outreach setup before any CRM helps.

What's really going on

You're describing an outbound LinkedIn campaign, not a CRM job. The sending, the sequencing, the reply tracking on LI — that lives in a LinkedIn outreach tool, not in a CRM. A CRM is where the lead sits before and after. If you buy the CRM first, you'll still be copy-pasting messages by hand next week.

What to do instead

  1. A LinkedIn outreach tool (HeyReach, Lemlist, La Growth Machine — check current pricing in EUR) — this is what sends the connection requests, the follow-ups, and tells you who replied. Pick one, start with 20 leads, not 200.
  2. A booking link — Cal.com (free, open-source) or Calendly (free tier) — paste it in the message that offers the demo. The click is your first real metric.
  3. A single spreadsheet for week one — columns: name, LI URL, sent, replied, booked. That's your CRM until you outgrow it. You will know when.

Do this today: open Cal.com, make one 30-min "Demo" event, copy the link. That link is the campaign's finish line — build backwards from it.

What you're being oversold

Attio is a lovely CRM, but for one campaign of cold LI outreach it's the wrong shape — you'd pay for a database when your bottleneck is sending and replying. Same story for any "AI CRM" pitched as an all-in-one. Doing nothing costs you the campaign: without a sender tool you'll send 15 messages, get bored, and call the channel dead when it was the setup that failed.

When to revisit this

When you've run one campaign end-to-end and the spreadsheet feels like it's fighting you — not before.

The part worth getting right

The fork is whether this is one campaign or a repeatable motion. If it's a one-off test — 50 to 100 leads, see if LI works for your offer — the spreadsheet plus an outreach tool is the whole stack, and a CRM is dead weight. If it's the start of a real outbound engine you'll run every month, then the CRM matters, because you'll need lead history, notes, and pipeline stages the outreach tool can't hold. Same leads, same tools on top, completely different foundation underneath. Which one is this?
